Many of us struggle when it comes to talking about our own accomplishments. Cultural and gender modesty norms as well as impostor syndrome can prevent anyone from acknowledging their remarkable attributes and expressing their achievements.
This is why I am excited to invite you to attend the #IamRemarkable workshop.
#IamRemarkable is a Google initiative empowering women and underrepresented groups to speak openly about their accomplishments in the workplace and beyond, thereby breaking modesty norms and glass ceilings. Learn more at g.co/IamRemarkable
In this interactive session, you will participate in group discussions and exercises to develop the confidence and skills to promote yourself effectively. During the 90 min #IamRemarkable workshop we will:
Share data and research regarding self promotion and unconscious bias
Go through the main exercise to help you articulate your achievements and practice self promotion
Have a discussion and share take home exercises
The workshop will take place on Tuesday, the 22nd of June from 14:00 to 15:30 CET, online via Google Meet. You’ll receive the details for joining the video call after you complete your registration.
If you would like to register for this workshop, please do so by completing this form. Places are limited, so if you’d like to join, I recommend you secure your spot as soon as possible.
Hope to see you there!
